Mara Bishop, M.S., Th.M., C.S.C., is an intuitive consultant, shamanic practitioner, teacher, author, and artist. She is the owner of WholeSpirit.In her private practice, Mara combines intuitive consultations, shamanic healing, shamanic counseling, Reiki, and Healing with Spiritual Light. Her Personal Evolution Counseling™ provides each client with an integrated approach to spiritual healing, personal growth and emotional well-being.Her book, Inner Divinity: Crafting Your Life with Sacred Intelligence, explores ways to rediscover your "inner divinity," the spirit you were born with which holds your unique key for bringing balance, healing and joy into your life.Mara has worked in the fields of intuition and shamanism since 1995. Mara is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three–Year Program in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing with Michael Harner and Sandra Ingerman, and Sandra Ingerman’s Teacher Training program in Shamanic Journeying and Healing. She is the only Harner Certified Shamanic Counselor® in North Carolina or neighboring states such as Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Mara is also a Reiki Master, and a founding member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners. In addition she holds Master's degrees in Energy Medicine and Theology.Mara conducts workshops in core shamanism, intuitive development, and the concepts she developed in her book Inner Divinity, among other topics.
