Gunning down the poets. I read an exquisite poem by a woman murdered by ICE. The title didn’t lead me to want to read this poem, but I did anyway. Renée Nicole Good won the 2020 Academy of American Poets prize for On Learning To Dissect Fetal Pigs. She was murdered by ICE in Minneapolis.
