Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is a day to consider the unfathomable loss of over 6 million Jewish lives. As we are reminded of the horrific suffering so many endured, may we also be reminded of our individual and collective responsibility to assure that we do not repeat our mistakes.
These are intense times, regardless of how things are going in your personal life or how you feel about the state of the world. But remember, you are not alone. Olynda Smith is beginning a wonderful workshop series called Yoga for Parents at the Durham Yoga Company beginning January 14th. On the mat we not only cultivate health, we also give ourselves the skills and support to embody patience, calm, compassion, and more.
