Shamanism Without Borders – First Gathering
May 1, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT
FreeThe topic of tonight’s gathering will be about working with pollution in the arctic waters. New findings this month about the levels of plastics pollutants are concerning. See this article in the New York Times for more information.
“Shamans throughout time have used special techniques and principles to tend to trauma and disasters, many of which are still very relevant today. Our Shamanism Without Borders program organizes shamanic practitioners, who through local and international web-based networks, can rapidly respond and tend to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, pollution, and anything that causes disruption and suffering to humanity, to the animal and plant life, and the earth’s delicate bio-system. This is a community of dedicated people who believe that in a coordinated fashion, they can assist and support healing in such events by applying long-distance and cross-cultural shamanic balancing techniques at no cost. This program is supported by a network of Community Leaders who host virtual call gatherings as the needs for shamanic tending arise.”
