SUMMARY:UNC Medical Center Presentation on Shamanism and Shamanic Healing
DESCRIPTION:For the 10th year\, I’ll be speaking about shamanic healing to a group of graduate students in an Integrative Medicine class at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. The class is usually made up of master’s students from the schools of medicine\, nursing and public health\, and some faculty and staff members. It is part of a series of lectures on the Principles and Practices of Alternative/Complementary Medicine\, and is held at the UNC Medical Center. I appreciate this opportunity and the openness of this group to considering many avenues for fostering health. \nAlthough this event is not open to the public\, I do speak about shamanism and other related topics to organizations and private groups.
