DESCRIPTION:In 2020 I am hosting a regular series of Shamanism Without Borders gatherings. \nShamanism Without Borders is a community working to provide ethical tending when there is a crisis that faces our communities. This community is comprised of people who can work collectively\, and respond quickly\, to natural disasters and other acute events\, and also more chronic issues like pollution and other forms of suffering to humans\, animals\, plants\, and land. It’s an intentional and clear process that allows us to be of service in our own unique ways of working shamanically as guided by the helping spirits\, and also having some checks to make sure that we are not invested in outcomes or too attached emotionally. \nThese will either be call in ceremonies where I will lead you through the process\, or virtual gatherings that you can do independently in your own space while others are working on the same issue. \nToday’s ceremony will be a call in. \nDial in number: 712-775-7035 \nAccess code: 347320 \nThe theme for the gathering will be compassion fatigue. \nThere is no charge. \nTo fully participate in the ceremony you’ll want to have some knowledge of\, and experience with\, shamanic practice\, especially a strong relationship with your helping spirits. DESCRIPTION:Shamanic journeying allows us to directly access spiritual assistance. Spirit teachers and power animals provide a profound source of wisdom\, support and healing. They are available to us if we make the effort to develop a relationship with them. \nThis class provides a introduction to shamanism and shamanic journeying. We will work in both the upper and lower worlds\, and connect with different kinds of compassionate helping spirits. Spiritual work is most effective when it has a grounded foundation. I approach the mystery of shamanic work with great reverence\, and while there is magic to this work\, I teach and practice it with a strong focus on healthy groundedness. \nIf you are interested in more in-depth shamanic training or participating in Shamanism Without Borders\, this is a good opportunity to get basic journeying skills.
