With the launch of the audio course Shining Bright Without Burning Out: Spiritual Tools for Creating Healthy Energetic Boundaries in an Overconnected World you can experience the heart of this work at your own pace and in your own place. It’s why I created the program with Sounds True. Annnnd…a live course can be really helpful in addition. We have different learning styles. I think the ideal scenario to have this work become second nature (and I’m not just trying to sell you my offerings) is to both attend a live course and have the audio course. It’s helpful to be able to practice with other people and ask me questions. Sometimes the tangents we go off on are some of the most productive and illuminating (for  me too!). This is rich content and it’s a lot to absorb. If you have the audio you can revisit meditations\, journeys\, and exercises to practice. So\, although the heart of this work is the same – turning our sensitivity into strength and adjusting our energetic boundaries to match the situations we are so we can stay healthy – the live and audio versions are not identical. We do different variations of the work. And that’s why I’ll continue to offer a live class\, at least for now.

Mara will present a 2 hour Learning Lab titled How Healthy Energetic Boundaries Help Build Resilience and Prevent Burnout. This learning lab is based on some of the foundational concepts of Shining Bright Without Burning Out. And will be on Friday May 13 in the morning. \nCEUs will be available for this course. DESCRIPTION:UNC Medical Center Presentation. For the 11th year\, I will speak about shamanism and shamanic healing at the Program for Integrative Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill. The class is made up of master’s students from the schools of medicine\, nursing and public health\, and some faculty and staff members. It’s part of a series of lectures on the Principles and Practices of Alternative/Complementary Medicine\, and is held at the UNC Medical Center. It will be held remotely again this year. \nI appreciate this opportunity and the openness of this group to considering many avenues for fostering health. A really wonderful speaker and friend will present about the past\, present\, and future of entheogens (psychedelics) \nI speak about shamanism and other related topics to organizations and private groups.
