Come use your natural ability to play creatively and explore the deeper realms of your intuitive and spiritual self. Hands on exercises with a sumptuous assortment of beads from around the world and with painting for pleasure will be interspersed with meditative and introspective techniques. No experience is necessary.

Each participant will design and create for themselves:
a small painting
a personal talisman with beads

You will be guided on this journey by Mara Bishop and Bridget Glenday.

Mara is the author of “Inner Divinity: Crafting Your Life with Sacred Intelligence,” an intuitive consultant, shamanic practitioner, teacher, and artist. Mara combines intuitive consultations, shamanic healing, and energetic healing to provide each client with an integrated approach to spiritual healing, personal growth and emotional well-being. She has merged her spiritual and creative practices allowing peaceful, healing energy to come through onto the canvas. 

Bridget is a writer, jewelry designer, and Reiki practitioner. She has lived much of her life in Africa and is an inveterate traveler indulging in her passion for beads wherever she goes. In her former life Bridget was a consumer researcher and new products consultant for multi-national corporations, such as Polaroid, Gillette and Colgate-Palmolive. She owned a decorative painting company in Nairobi and wrote a travel guide for Kenya. Bridget now designs custom tours to Kenya and South Africa.
